Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in selling refractories or other industrial products, with a strong focus on customer engagement and relationship building. This role requires extensive travel within India to engage with clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and objectives.
- Identify and prioritize potential clients within the Iron and Steel, Cement, Power Plants, and High-Temperature process industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through regular communication and site visits.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our refractory castables and PCPF blocks.
- Collaborate with the technical team to provide customized solutions to meet client requirements.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to management on a regular basis.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and resolution of any issues.
- Attend industry trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences to network and promote company products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) or Diploma in Engineering.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales of refractories or industrial products.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 80% of the time).
Location: Chennai, with frequent travel across India.
