Job Summary:
New Urban Residential is a dynamic, vertically integrated real estate investment firm with in-house property management. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Marketing Director to lead all marketing efforts for our properties and support our investment arm. The Marketing Director will be responsible for creating compelling marketing materials, managing our online presence, optimizing our listing services, and ensuring our brand and reputation are maintained across various platforms. This person will play a critical role in driving both tenant acquisition and investor relations.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Branding:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for New Urban Residential's properties to drive tenant acquisition and retention.
- Design and produce marketing materials including property brochures, flyers, presentations, and digital media for both leasing and investment purposes.
- Manage the company's and properties websites, ensuring that content is up-to-date, visually appealing, and optimized for lead generation and SEO.
- Ensure consistent branding across all platforms, maintaining a strong brand image for both the company and individual properties.
Digital Presence & Lead Generation:
- Create, manage, and optimize social media accounts for New Urban Residential and its properties to engage tenants and attract prospective leads.
- Oversee property listings on Internet Listing Services (ILS), regularly updating information and photos to enhance visibility.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of ILS sources, focusing on cost-efficiency and lead conversion. Optimize marketing spend to ensure the highest return on investment (ROI).
Reputation Management:
- Monitor and manage online reviews and reputation for each property on platforms like Google, Yelp, Apartments.com, etc.
- Respond to both positive and negative feedback, ensuring swift and professional responses to reviews and tenant inquiries.
- Develop strategies to encourage positive reviews and improve the company's overall online reputation.
Investment Marketing Support:
- Collaborate with the investment arm of the firm to review and enhance investor-focused marketing materials, including offering memoranda, presentations, and quarterly reports.
- Assist in designing and distributing investor communications and updates.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for all marketing efforts, including website traffic, social media engagement, ILS lead conversion, and online reputation metrics.
- Provide regular insights and recommendations to senior leadership regarding the effectiveness of current marketing strategies and suggest improvements for future campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in real estate marketing (residential/multifamily preferred).
- Experience with digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and social media management platforms.
- Knowledge of real estate industry, ILS platforms, and property management.
- Skills:
- Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) or similar tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Data-driven approach to decision making; strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with SEO/SEM strategies, Google Analytics, and digital advertising platforms.
