About the role
We are seeking a talented and versatile Marketing Designer to join our Brand & Creative team. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled designer with a strong focus on conversion-oriented design and a passion for creating visually compelling and impactful marketing materials. This role will primarily focus on lifecycle and email marketing, but will also support design projects across various marketing channels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Elevate and evolve the Ethos design direction across multiple channels, creating a consistent brand experience across all social, lifecycle marketing, advertising, events and visual communication touch-points. There will be a heavy emphasis on email and lifecycle marketing.
Design engaging and effective email campaigns, including email templates, layouts, and graphics.
Design a high volume of compelling marketing content across channels, from concept to execution, including email & social media campaigns, digital ads, landing pages, and other marketing channels as needed
Collaborate efficiently with marketing and product design to tell Ethos story with compelling visuals, iconography, typography, photography, animation and infographics across all digital channels and platforms.
Help shape the strategic vision and goals for the design team by identifying and pitching ideas that create business or user value
Lead high-impact projects and programs in a dynamic environment
Maintain and evolve the Ethos brand and design system ensuring, consistency across all touch points
Qualifications and Skills:
4-6 years of professional marketing design experience with a focus on digital marketing
Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition
Strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of design styles and capabilities
Experience with conversion-oriented design and a proven ability to create high-performing marketing materials
Experience leading projects and process spanning insights, ideation and validation through to execution
Proficiency with design tools like Adobe CC and Figma
Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster strong working relationships with team members and cross-functional partners
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Strong skills around critical thinking and storytelling
Receptive to feedback in an iterative design process
Able to work independently, drive multiple projects at a time, and iterate quickly
Experience in DTC or financial services industry preferred
Experience in photography, video editing, or animation is a bonus
