Job Description

  • PR Strategy: Develop and implement PR strategies and campaigns that align with the organization's marketing goals and objectives.
  • Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and influencers. Pitch story ideas, press releases, and expert interviews.
  • Content Creation: Create and edit compelling press releases, articles, blog posts, and other written materials for media distribution.
  • Crisis Management: Develop crisis communication plans and respond effectively to protect the organization's reputation during challenging situations.
  • Branding: Ensure that PR efforts align with the organization's branding and messaging guidelines. Maintain brand consistency in all communications.
  • Event Management: Plan and manage PR events, product launches, press conferences, and media briefings.
  • Measurement and Reporting: Analyze and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns, using data and metrics to evaluate success and make improvements.
  • Internal Communication: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and communication strategies across the organization.
  • Online Presence: Manage and monitor the organization's online presence, including social media channels, to maintain a positive image and address any negative sentiment.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the PR budget, allocating resources effectively to achieve campaign goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, such as customers, partners, and employees, to enhance positive public perception.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in public relations, media relations, or a related role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success in planning and executing PR campaigns.
  • Knowledge of media and public relations tools and techniques.
  • Crisis management and issues handling experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Data analysis and reporting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certification in Public Relations or related fields.
  • Experience in using PR and media monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific media outlets.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and social media strategies.
