Job Summary:
The Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing the company's marketing, communications, and public relations strategies across multiple platforms. The role involves managing social media presence, organizing events, creating marketing collateral, overseeing website content, managing awards submissions, leading a marketing team, and collaborating with key stakeholders to deliver cohesive and impactful messaging. This role requires a strategic thinker who manages projects, coordinates teams, and drives brand growth across digital and traditional channels.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Management:
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
Create and manage engaging content (posts, videos, infographics) that aligns with the company's goals and brand voice.
Monitor and analyse social media trends, engagement, and performance, adjusting strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with content creators and graphic designers to ensure high-quality visual and written content.
2. Event Planning and Management:
Organize and execute company events including webinars, conferences, and internal events.
Manage logistics, promotion, and follow-up communications for events.
Work with vendors, speakers, and internal teams to ensure successful event execution.
3. Collaterals and Case Studies:
Drive the team to create and update marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations, whitepapers, and sales decks.
Develop detailed case studies showcasing company projects, results, and successes.
Collaborate with design and content teams to ensure materials are visually appealing and aligned with the brand.
4. Website Management:
Oversee the website's content strategy and ensure it remains up-to-date, relevant, and SEO-optimized.
Work with web developers and designers to implement updates and improvements.
Monitor website traffic and analytics, making strategic adjustments to improve user engagement and conversion rates.
5. Awards and Recognition:
Research relevant industry awards and manage the submission process.
Coordinate with internal teams to gather the necessary information and documentation for awards applications.
Promote company achievements through press releases, social media, and other communication channels.
6. Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage a marketing team, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Oversee the workload and productivity of the team, providing clear direction and support for career development.
Foster a collaborative team environment focused on creativity and innovation.
7. Communication and Stakeholder Management:
Act as the point of contact for internal and external communications related to marketing.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including sales, product, and leadership teams, to align marketing initiatives with business goals.
Build and maintain relationships with external partners such as vendors, media contacts, and industry organizations.
8. Strategic Thinking and Planning:
Develop and execute strategic marketing plans that align with the company's objectives and vision.
Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to adjust marketing strategies.
Regularly report on marketing performance and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
Should be responsible for managing the marketing budgets
Qualifications and Skills:
8-12 Years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree/ MBA in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience in social media management, event coordination, website management, and content creation.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
