Job Description

Position : Marketing Assistant

Job location: Remote

Job Summary:

As a Marketing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the management team by handling various tasks related to sales and lead generation, database management, CRM usage, and reporting. You will be the key point of contact for managing data, tracking leads, and ensuring that reports and activities are completed on time. This role demands excellent time management, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support to the Management Team:
  • Assist management with daily tasks and ensure they are completed on time and meet deadlines. Prioritize assignments based on urgency and business needs.
  • Sales and Lead Generation:
  • Focus on providing sales support in international markets (USA, UK, Australia, NZ, Europe, Middle East) for IT, Engineering, and other services. Conduct outbound calling, lead generation, and client relationship management.
  • Database Management:
  • Independently manage and maintain databases, ensuring accurate data entry, follow-ups, and updates. Work on generating new leads and keeping track of prospects.
  • CRM and Tools:
  • Utilize CRM tools like V-Tiger, Zoho, MailChimp or and other email-grabbing tools to manage leads, run cold calling and email campaigns, and track progress. Adjust strategies as per business requirements in consultation with the management team and service provider.
  • Reporting:
  • Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports for sales activities, campaign performance, and client progress. Maintain and update targeted market databases and key decision-makers.
  • Meetings and Communication:
  • Schedule and set up meetings for management. Send follow-up emails, track daily activities, and report updates on client progress regularly.
  • Market Research:
  • Conduct data mining, keyword searches, and database creation. Research potential clients and competitors. Track and follow up on leads with relevant teams.
  • Time Management:
  • Manage multiple tasks under time pressure and be ready to handle time-critical assignments. Prioritize tasks effectively, based on instructions from management.
  • Daily Activity Report (DAR):
  • Update and submit the Daily Activity Report at the end of each shift, tracking all completed tasks and outstanding items.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
  • Support any other tasks as required by the business, with flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Preferably MBA candidate.
  • Proficiency in any CRM tools ( i.e., V-Tiger, Zoho, MailChimp) and email-grabbing tools.
  • Experience in cold calling, lead generation, and managing client relationships.
  • Strong database management skills, with the ability to independently handle data and follow-ups.
  • Excellent communication skills for email correspondence, meetings, and daily reporting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in data mining and keyword searches for market research.
  • Experience in generating and analyzing reports on sales performance and campaign results.
