nWhat you will be doing at Evalueserve

nImportant responsibilities in this role will include:

• nAnalyze large datasets to identify data quality issues, discrepancies, and anomalies in production data.
• nDevelop and implement data validation procedures to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data and maintain detailed documentation of data quality issues and resolutions.
• nUtilize SQL and Python to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources.
• nPerform root cause analysis to identify the source of data quality issues and take corrective actions.
• nContinuously improve data quality processes and standards.

nWhat were Looking for

• nWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team and focus on identifying and resolving data quality issues in market risk datasets.
• nThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in market risk management, SQL and Python, with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of financial markets and risk management.

nQualification

• nBachelors degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• nProven experience as a Data Analyst in the financial services industry.
• nStrong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• nAdvanced skills in Python for data analysis, including libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and matplotlib.
• nSolid understanding of market risk concepts and financial instruments.
• nExperience with data quality tools and frameworks is a plus
