Job Purpose:
nThis role will have exposure across all platforms working to bring actionable research at a macro level as well as drive key platform-based primary research projects ultimately presenting the final findings to all levels of the business. The right candidate must be able to act as the central SPOC for research handling all aspects including but not limited to initial proposal, vendor selection, logistics, execution and final analysis.

nResponsibilities
n
- nSupport the platform manager when creating product documents, business cases, and product launch plans, including timing, pricing, product materials, talking points, training, etc. with relevant information from the collection of data First Person, Macro Economic, and other 3rd party sources.
n
- nKey SPOC for all major research needed to support the Product Direction, focusing on Pan Market and Multinational and multimodal studies, ensuring consumer and industry research results can be incorporated into model planning & strategies.
n
- nScrutinise statistical market data to project future market trends and to forecast business needs for products.
n
- nAnalyse up-to-date regional regulatory and product suitability requirements
n
- nRegularly review market activity and registration statistics to identify trends and opportunities.
n
- nMonitor and be apprised of consumer perceptions, opinions, and other activities on various industry sites, social media, and brand owner chat rooms, blogs, etc.
n
- nEnsure consumer and industry research results are incorporated into model planning & strategies.
n
- nCreate and maintain a single database to compile and template sales and volume data, and leading analysis and forecasting on India and other major markets [quantitative data].
n
- nTrack the news bytes, reports by Government bodies, industry leaders across automotive segments, industry representatives, and consulting firms on announcements about electric vehicles in respective countries from 2015.
n
- nThe country-wise database is to be further classified into 4-W, 2-W, 3-W, and commercial vehicles and provide details on incentives for each of the segments followed by providing up-to-date regional regulatory developments.
