Job Summary:As a Market Research Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our market research initiatives and gaining practical experience in the field of marketing and consumer insights. You will assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide valuable insights that inform business decisions and strategies. Data Collection and Analysis:- Assist in collecting market data through various research methods, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and secondary research.
Organize and analyze research data using statistical analysis software, Excel, and other tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights.Competitive Analysis:
Conduct competitive analysis to assess the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) of competing products, brands, and companies.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, marketing campaigns, and product developments to identify market opportunities and threats.
Consumer Behavior Research:
- Assist in studying consumer behavior, preferences, attitudes, and purchasing patterns through surveys, ethnographic research, and observational studies.
Analyze consumer demographics, psychographics, and segmentation data to identify target markets and consumer segments.
- Market Trends and Insights:
Monitor industry trends, market developments, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.- Summarize key findings and insights from market research studies and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
Report Writing and Presentation:- Assist in preparing research reports, presentations, and visualizations to communicate research findings, insights, and recommendations effectively.
Collaborate with team members to ensure the accuracy, clarity, and relevance of research deliverables.Project Coordination and Support:
Support project managers and research analysts in planning, executing, and coordinating market research projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate logistics for research activities, such as participant recruitment, survey distribution, and data collection.
Quality Assurance and Documentation:
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of research data by conducting quality checks and validation procedures.
Maintain detailed documentation of research methodologies, data sources, and analytical processes.
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Marketing, Business Administration, Market Research, or a related field.
- Strong interest in market research, consumer behavior, and marketing analytics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R).- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
* Prior experience with market research tools, survey platforms, or data visualization tools is a plus but not required.
