The
Marine Structural Engineer will serve on structural design projects relating to Ports and Maritime Group.
- She/he will perform structural analysis and design of structures which are present in a typical port under the supervision of a senior engineer.
- Analysis and design of various concrete/steel structures.
- Interacting with CAD Technician for preparation and checking of drawings.
- Should be proficient in use of STAAD Pro/STAAD Pro Connect software.
- Should have working knowledge of Autocad/Revit/Navisworks software.
- Should be willing to work outside normal work hours if required by project schedule.
- Should be a team player.
Here's what you'll need
Qualifications - External
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is essential
- Master's degree with specialisation in Structural Engineering or Offshore Engineering or Marine Structures will be preferred
- About 15+ years of experience after graduation/post-graduation in a design engineer role, with minimum experience of 6 years in analysis & design of concrete structures.
- Experience in design of marine structures is preferred.
- Knowledge of calculating all the various loads acting on marine structures is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Indian codes and standards is expected.
- Knowledge of various EURO Codes will be preferred.
- Should have awareness of individual capability limitations and technical competence.
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
- Good communication skills are desirable.
