DHL Express is looking for a Marcoms & Digital Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. He/she will be responsible for the planning & execution of key Marketing programs, sponsorships, Digital Marketing, Events and Collaterals.
Key Responsibilities
- DHL works on multiple channels of communication with customers in multiple segments. We therefore do not adopt a one-size fits all approach when it comes to communication.
- He/she will have to perform the following key activities:
- Working as a Digital Specialist to develop content suited to for Socials, Performance Marketing, SEO, others.
- Leveraging the available communication tools like Marketo to ensure reach and effectiveness of the communication.
- Developing the right communication approach for different channels.
- Developing communication that leverages these channels well and give us a competitive advantage.
Events & Sponsorships:
- o Sports Sponsorships is at the heart of how we engage with our customers, fans and employees. He / She will have to support in the sports activation.
- o SMEs are a key business segment for DHL. It is therefore important for DHL to drive connect and engagement with this segment. This is enabled through strategic alliances with trade bodies like CII, FICCI, and various Export Promotion Councils. He/she will have to perform the following key activities:
- Nurturing these alliances
- Identifying customer outreach platforms
- Working with respective commercial functions to leverage such platforms
- Anchoring DHL owned and managed SME networking events
Marketing Collateral Development:
- o DHL is a B2B organization and supports small and large business around the world to take their business across borders. B2B communication collaterals are therefore an integral part of our selling approach. He/she will have to perform the following key activities:
- Working with commercial managers to develop collaterals for Key Industry Verticals, Trade Lanes, Products and Services
- Working with training and development teams to drive usage
Branding:
- o DHL has a significant presence in India through over 225+ service points and over 50+ service centers, airport facilities and sales offices. He/she will have to perform the following key activities:
- Branding of new facilities and ensuring correct brand usage across existing facilities
- Working with legal, retail and wholesale teams to identify and manage infringement cases
- Incumbent has no direct reports and authority over country line and functional personnel
Skills Required
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated.
- Proven experience in creative writing / copywriting / content writing is a must
- Good presentation skills
- Display team working skills
- Experience in events and sponsorship management
- Experience in working with creative, events and digital agencies
- Advanced knowledge of MS PowerPoint
- Experience in working with trade bodies is an added advantage
- Knowledge of design tools like Corel Draw, Photoshop is an added advantage
Profile Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Graduate. MBA Preferred
