Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 4-5 engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering professional growth.
- Oversee and coordinate manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry standards.
- Serve as a project manager, guiding projects from inception to completion, managing resources, schedules, and budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Development, Plant Operations, and Quality Assurance, to drive project success.
- Utilize your expertise in NPI (New Product Introduction) to guide the smooth transition from design to manufacturing.
- Leverage your proficiency in manufacturing engineering to optimize processes, drive efficiency, and ensure product quality.
- Lead supplier development initiatives, establishing strong relationships and driving improvements in the supply chain.
- Develop and implement strategies for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational excellence.
- Act as a technical advisor, solving complex manufacturing challenges and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Stay informed about the latest manufacturing technologies, trends, and best practices, and implement relevant innovations.
- Provide regular updates to senior management regarding project status, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and collaboration within your team.

- As the Manufacturing Technology Leader at Motherson Health & Medical , you will play a critical role in overseeing and coordinating manufacturing processes, managing projects, and leading a team of engineers. Your extensive experience in various roles of expertise, such as NPI, manufacturing engineering, and supplier development, will enable you to guide and mentor your team while ensuring the seamless execution of projects
Profound knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and industry standards.
- Previous experience in leadership roles, with the ability to mentor and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and analytically.
- Exceptional communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and senior management.
- Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with medical device manufacturing requirements and regulatory standards is advantageous.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
- Extensive experience of 12-15 years in various roles, including NPI, manufacturing engineering, and supplier development.
- Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully leading complex projects from concept to completion.
