Description
We are seeking a highly qualified Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee our production operations. The ideal candidate will have 2-12 years of experience in manufacturing and a strong background in process improvement. This position is based in India and requires extensive knowledge of Indian manufacturing practices and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes that are efficient, cost-effective, and meet quality standards
- Ensure all production schedules are met and products are delivered on time
- Manage and train production staff to ensure they are following safety procedures and meeting production targets
- Monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth production operations
- Maintain accurate production records and reports
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 2-12 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of Indian manufacturing practices and regulations
- Experience with process improvement and implementing lean manufacturing principles
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to analyze and solve problems quickly and effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing software
- Experience with Six Sigma or other quality management methodologies is a plus
