JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Manufacturing IT Application Manager

Reports To: Manager Manufacturing Systems Maintenance and Service

Role Type: Individual Contributor

Location: Pune/Bangalore

Purpose of the role:

As Manufacturing IT Application Manager, you have complete end to end service accountability for the Service offerings in Your portfolio. You will play an important role to optimize and maximize the Services value through the entire lifecycle, always with business benefit as key driver

Responsibilities:

• Managing and continuously improve the service, follow up with business.
• Ensure Service Quality and regular review of Service performance.
• Maintain the Services content in the Service portfolio/s
• Ensure Architectural standards are followed.
• Responsible for the Services Support model
• Manage the Services full Life cycle including Release, Security, Finance, License compliance, Integration, Compliance, Audits
• Trigger Service improvement plans when necessary.
• Control TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) throughout the life cycle.
• Support the operational stability of Services incl. bug fixes & minor developments.
• Service Training material and information about the Services in business language
• Supplier Management including contracts and negotiations.
• You will support various projects and demands representing Your Application Services.

Education & Experience:

• At least 5-7 years of experience within IT
• ITIL knowledge
• A BS degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in Manufacturing Application Management in a Global context.
• Experience in Plant Maintenance Applications is a plus
• Experience in contract negotiation and project management methodology.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
• Capacity to deliver in a high-performance team located remotely.
• Structure and organize own time with high work ethics
