• Job Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Manual Tester with experience in card payment systems to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our payment processing systems through thorough testing and analysis. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of payment gateways, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for card payment systems, including credit, debit, and prepaid card transactions.

• Test various payment scenarios such as authorizations, settlements, reversals, refunds, and chargebacks.

Validate integration with payment gateways, processors, and third-party vendors.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Identify, document, and track defects using test management tools.

• Conduct regression testing to ensure new code changes do not negatively affect existing functionalities.

Perform end-to-end testing, including functional, usability, security, and performance testing.

• Validate compliance with industry standards such as PCI-DSS and other regulatory requirements.

Prepare detailed test reports and communicate test results, issues, and risks to the project team.

• Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and other testing-related activities.

• Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Proven experience as a Manual Tester, specifically in card payment systems.

Strong knowledge of card payment processes, including transaction flows, authorization, and settlement.

• Familiarity with payment gateways, POS systems, and EMV standards.

Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.

• Understanding of SQL for database validation and querying.

Knowledge of PCI-DSS compliance and other relevant security standards.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
