II. General Purpose & Requirement

Roles and responsibilities
The role and responsibilities are broad and include, but are not limited to:
- Detailed engineering of PV solar ground-mount utility scale & rooftop power plant, preparing Technical Specifications, Technical Evaluation of vendors, vendor document reviews, etc.
- Switchyard substation designs up to 220 kV voltage level, preparing Protection SLD, BOM, layouts, in compliance to Indian & International standards.
- Preparing calculations & layouts for switchyard earthing, DSLP, Sag tension & short-circuit force, and relay settings and coordination.
- Selection of Transformers, Switchgears, Cables, HT panels, LT panels, Battery & is charger, etc.
- Conducting site visits for land selection & its feasibility.
- Attending factory and site inspections as and when required.
- Acting as SPOC for the project and attending regular meetings with all departments.
- Managing the project database up to date.
Key Skills, Experience & Knowledge
Essential
- 10-12 years experience in electrical design
- BE / BTech Electrical Engineering
- Experience of substation design up to 220kV
- Conducted site visits for land assessment
- PVsyst, AutoCAD, Microsoft office tools, PPT, ETAP
- Good in English writing & speaking
Desired but not essential
- Experience on ERP / SAP.
- Idea of HV-MV-LV equipments costs.
- Knowledge of transmission lines.
- Experience of substation design to 220kV evacuation.
- Good knowledge of HV-MV-LV Power Transformers, switchgears, MV-LV cables, & electrical equipments.
- Experience in preparation of Technical specification, RFQ, layouts, BOM for switchyard area.
- Knowledge of transmission lines.
- Conduct site visits for land assessment for Solar plant installation.
III. Action Assignment
Key Responsibilities -
- Preparing preliminary and final SLD, BOM, layouts, calculations, relay setting & coordination, etc.
- Sizing of transformers, switchgears, DC and AC LV & HV cables, layout optimization, Battery & charger, UPS, HT & LT panels, etc.
- Preparing calculations & layouts for switchyard earthing, DSLP, Sag tension & short-circuit force, and relay settings and coordination.
- Preparing PVsyst reports as per inputs and supporting SCM & Strategy teams to finalize the PV modules & Inverter technology.
- Reviewing of control & monitoring systems like CRP, SAS, PLCC & FOTE system documents from suppliers.
- Preparing and reviewing of PV layouts.
- Conducting site visits for land selection & its feasibility.
- Attending factory and site inspections as and when required.
- Acting as SPOC for the project and attending regular meetings with all departments and updating the team.
- Managing the project database up to date.
- Selection of transmission line voltage and conductor.
- Cost optimisation by Innovations & introducing best industry practice.
