Responsibilities
Drive business strategies and growth
- Develop and execute the growth strategy identifying market trends, opportunities, potential risks, and provide strategic recommendations to management team for business expansion and improvement
- Drive revenue growth through effectives sales & marketing strategies, leveraging the brand and unique value proposition
- Endorse service and quality and lead team to effectively manage the various functional areas to maximise guest's experiences and uphold the brand image
- Develop strong owner and developer relationships to drive the growth of 3rd party management and franchised contracts
- Lead property refurbishments and asset enhancements to realise the highest value of the property
- Represent and advocate the interest at key events
Drive service and operational excellence
- Develop brand-led service culture to build strong brand flagship and drive service excellence
- Provide visionary and inspiring leadership to encourage innovation, productivity, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Lead best practices, process improvements, change management initiatives and knowledge management to drive operational efficiency and cost optimistation
- Assess performance and identify areas for improvement through monitoring key performance indicators/financial metrics
- Oversee the day-to-day operations aligning to the standards and ensuring compliance with related laws and regulatory requirements/guidelines; as well as leading corporate governance and social responsibility, and strategic decisions during emergency situations
Lead financial performance and reporting
- Ensure compliance to organisational financial and treasury management policies
- Prepare and present financial plans, performance reports, budgets and forecast to management team and key stakeholders
- Drive financial performance and profitability of the cluster
- Manage capital expenditure projects leading property valuation and ensuring financial decisions are aligned to the business objectives
Lead people management
- Foster a committed and competent workforce through human resource strategies for performance and reward management, capability development and succession planning
- Develop strong talent pipeline and capability to support growth
- Coach, guide and support to the local leadership team enabling professional growth and successes
- Oversee disciplinary and human resource-related issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Hospitality or related field
- Ideally more than 10 years of experience in a Senior Executive role within the hospitality industry, with a focus on the India and South Asia market
- Strong business and financial acumen and a demonstrated record of driving growth and profitability
- Critical thinking skills to make strategic decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent understanding of the market dynamics such as trends, cultural nuances, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent leadership abilities and people management skills inspiring and motivating teams to achieve exceptional results
- Ability to build and maintain relationship with key stakeholders
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Pre-opening experiences would be a plus
- May be required to frequently travel around the cities
