In driving a high performing and lean procurement team the function holder is responsible for supporting the ITPS Sub-categories Travel, Meeting & Events while focusing on strategy, stakeholder connection and transformation.
The function holder is responsible for the management of RFx and Contracting activities while also supporting Insights, Reporting, and Supplier Management activities for the categories in scope.
Translating strategy to automated RFx solutions will enable an E2E process that helps support global spend while delivering incremental and substantial productivity.
The function holder will support the development of category practices for selected market categories, including sourcing strategy definition, deployment, and stakeholder management, to maximize total cost of ownership savings and Procurement s value contribution while achieving compliance with policies, strategies, and processes.
Responsibilities
The function holder will support the E2E ITPS Subcategories Travel, Meeting & Events (TME) management.
Support in building & executing procurement strategies for the TME categories that align with the organizations overall procurement goals and objectives and contribute to smart spend guidelines.
Support the sourcing, negotiation, and contracting for TME-related products and services - with final sign off by Europe Procurement leadership.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including travel managers, meeting and event planners, and business unit leaders, to ensure that procurement decisions align with business needs and compliance requirements.
Support the development and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, the negotiation ofcontracts, and managing supplier performance to ensure the organization receives the best value for its spend.
Build relationships with the global category teams and regional stakeholders to improve engagement and better understanding pf the business needs.
Leverage the implementation of global and regional solutions when applicable.
Identify and support cost-saving initiatives that optimize the organization spend on TME-related products and services.
Identify & contribute to continuous improvement agenda looking at E2E process and drive efficient and more effective procurement of TME-related products and services across Europe.
Investigate and recommend new tools / best practices within TME
Monitor industry trends and developments to identify emerging opportunities and risks in the TME categories.
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to the procurement of TME-related products and services.
Support the communication of procurement strategies, initiatives, and results to ITPS Leadership team and other stakeholders.
Collection, tracking, analysis, ranking if evaluation matrix, summary & reporting for RFx/competitive bidding process across contractual requirements, cost, service, quality, sustainability, and innovation.
Be the contact for Travel related issues.
Develop a procurement playbook re-enforcing smart spend across Travel, Meeting & Events.
De-mystify travel rates to the travelers.
Work very closely with MBS / COE Travel team to optimize this agenda.
Build transparency on travel via fit for purpose Egencia reports and share with key stakeholder group to drive right travel behavior
Contribute to the 5%+ YoY productivity delivery on Travel, Meeting and Events
Comply with Europe procurement Policy and other applicable policies as periodically updated and communicated and ensure correct execution and documentation of controls.
Develop, share best practices, learning and celebrate.

Qualifications
Bachelor s Degree
7-9 years of experience in Procurement, preferably within FMCG environment and with proven track record in Indirect Procurement
Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Overall excellent knowledge of procurement processes and category sourcing approaches in best-in-class procurement organizations and ability to implement them in complex environment.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools, such as eProcurement, spend analytics, and contract management platforms.
Strong internal customer management skills: capacity to listen, understand and capture internal clients needs and deliver appropriate solutions.
Previous Experience with Travel, and Meetings & Events procurement categories preferred.
Knowledge of relevant regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices in the travel, meetings, and events categories.
Languages: English is must. Any of below mentioned languages are assets: German, French, Spanish, Polish, Turkish
