Manager - Transaction Advisory

Job Description: Walter Advisors is seeking a skilled Chartered Accountant having experience in M&A Transaction Advisory to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, due diligence, and transaction execution. In this role, you will work closely with clients to advise and guide them through various stages of M&A transactions, including acquisition, divestiture, and merger processes.

Job Responsibilities

Housekeeping and planning for a potential transaction.

Provide support in sell-side transaction advisory tasks, including:

- Conducting a review of documents for financial due diligence.

- Performing in-depth financial analysis of the company.

- Assisting in the identification of management adjustments to enhance the Quality of Earnings reports.

- Developing financial models and projections.

- Aiding clients in furnishing pertinent information to investment bankers for the creation of information memorandums.

- Collaborating with clients to address queries related to finance, tax, legal, regulatory EHS, etc., coordinating with both external experts and internal management.

Prepare company profiles, information memorandums, and financial models for transactions of a smaller scale.

Analyze investment prospects for clients, such as entering new markets, vertical integrations, and expansion strategies, by conducting high-level financial due diligence, evaluating forecast models, and performing valuations.

Provide assistance to the reporting manager and lead the team in comprehensive financial advisory assignments.

Oversee the creation of MIS for clients and guide them until they are capable of managing it independently.

Position Requirements:

A Chartered Accountant (CA) from Mumbai, with 1.5 to 3 years of post-qualification experience in financial due diligence or transaction advisory.

Experience in managing clients in the manufacturing sector with turnovers exceeding Rs. 100 crores.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis.

Exceptional analytical abilities combined with business and commercial insight.

Strong command of English in both verbal and written communication.
