As a Manager - Business Development, you will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Identify and develop new business opportunities through strategic partnerships, collaborations, and tie-ups.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate clients, agents, and distributors.
Identify and capitalize on emerging trends and opportunities in the life insurance industry.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
Performance Management:
Set and achieve sales targets for the business development team.
Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Develop and maintain a high-performing team through coaching, training, and mentoring.
Market Intelligence:
Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes.
Analyze market data to identify opportunities and threats, and develop strategies to address them.
Communication and Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management, sales teams, and external partners.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations.
