Manager, Sustainability and Compliance

Job Description:

• a) ISO Compliance

Ensure the company complies with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.

• Develop, implement, and manage an integrated Quality Management System (QMS) within the company.

Lead internal and external audits related to ISO certifications, identify non-conformities, and oversee corrective actions.

• Continuously improve the companys adherence to ISO standards to meet regulatory and client requirements.

Provide quality support to other departments to ensure that their work is being delivered according to ISO standards.

• b) Sustainability Strategy

Develop and implement sustainability initiatives aligned with the companys strategic goals.

• Monitor environmental performance and implement programs to reduce environmental impacts, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and resource conservation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into all aspects of the business, including procurement, construction, and corporate governance.

• c) Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Lead the planning, development, and execution of CSR programs and initiatives.

• Engage with stakeholders, including employees, clients, and the community, to promote the companys CSR activities.

Report on CSR and sustainability efforts, providing regular updates to senior management and the board of directors.

• d) Reporting and Documentation

Maintain documentation related to ISO certifications, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accessible for audits.

• Prepare detailed reports on the companys sustainability performance, compliance status, and CSR activities.

Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data and trends.

• e) Training and Awareness

Conduct training sessions for employees on ISO standards, sustainability practices, and CSR initiatives.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and environmental stewardship within the organization.

Develop communication strategies to raise awareness of the companys sustainability and CSR efforts.

• Job Requirements:

Possess a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.

• Minimum of 510 years of experience in quality management, sustainability, and compliance, preferably within the construction industry.

Professional certification in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or equivalent is highly desirable.

• Strong knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and CSR principles and practices.

Proven ability to manage ISO certifications and lead audits effectively.

• Strong ethical standards and a commitment to corporate responsibility, with the ability to develop and execute long-term sustainability plans.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence at all levels of the organization.

• Applicants must be willing to work in Kota Damansara, Selangor.
