We provide global food manufacturers and spice brands with the full range of processed spices meeting global food safety standards. We have a fully digitized supply chain wherein every single bag of processed spice that we supply can be traced back right upto the farm where it was grown with full history of agronomic practices, processing history and compliance history available online using our cloud based sourcing application. We are also certified to process organic spices meeting NPOP/NOP/EU organic standards.
Profile : Person will be responsible for overseeing the sourcing of Chilli, turmeric, Cumin and other spices & ingredients. This role includes managing day-to-day purchases, coordinating job work with external vendors, ensuring On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery in accordance with manufacturing plant requirements, and overseeing the procure-to-pay process, must have strong background in supply chain management, vendor relationships, and procurement in the agri-commodities sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Management:
- Source and procure agricultural commodities to meet the company's production requirements.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Monitor market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
2 Vendor Management:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Coordinate job work with external vendors to ensure timely and quality production.
- Evaluate vendor performance and implement improvement strategies as needed.
3 OTIF Management:
- Ensure On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery of materials to the manufacturing plant.
- Work closely with the production team to align supply schedules with manufacturing needs.
- Implement and monitor OTIF performance metrics, identifying and addressing any issues.
4 Supply Chain Coordination:
- Oversee the logistics and transportation of commodities to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to optimize inventory levels and reduce lead times.
- Implement and maintain robust supply chain processes and systems.
5 Procure-to-Pay Process:
- Manage the end-to-end procure-to-pay process, including purchase orders, invoicing, and payment approvals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
6 Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the procurement budget.
- Track and report on key financial metrics related to procurement and supply chain activities.
- Work with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.
7 Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to procurement and supply chain activities.
- Implement and monitor quality control processes to maintain product standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, or a related field. A master's degree MBA in Agribusiness is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related role within the agri-commodities sector.
- Agri Commodity experience is must, spices experience is preferred.
Skills:

- Proficiency in procurement software, SAP and systems.
