Job Description:

This role will span across line functions at TC group subsidiaries. This role is responsible to achieve operational targets for the Support Business Unit, by defining and implementing service strategies to offer best in class service to our stakeholders. This management cadre role will be responsible to co-ordinate with various stakeholders and to standardize the best practices across group companies and optimize the cost on behalf of the Company. Purpose of Role 1. Will be responsible for Direct tax management for TC group subsidiaries 2. Tax advisory and opinion on various projects and new ventures undertaken by organization 3. Handling notices from department and review of past litigations. Purpose of Role Responsible for Tax Payments and compliances TDS Preparing working for TDS Payments, TDS Returns. Filing of TDS Returns. Handling all the business queries w.r.t. TDS or other allied tax laws Doing Tax Payment entries in SAP. Responsible for timely compliances and complete the audits without any adverse remarks/liability. Strive to find out the tax leakage in current processes and try to fix the bug Income GL Scrutiny and fixing the bugs identified during audits and scrutiny. Advisory and consultancy to business teams on queries raised from time-to-time w.r.t. allied laws. Handling Statutory, Internal Audits & audits by Government authorities like EA-2000, CERA audit Handling notices or enquiry received from DGGI, DRI or local government departments. Handling Litigations and drafting replies to show cause notices. Timely submissions in response to notice received from departments. Preparing MIS reports required by various internal and external stakeholders for reporting. Issuing 15CA/15CB TRC Application Preparing Data for TDS & Income Tax Assessments DTA working Key Relationship Internal External 1. Business Leaders 2. Business Managers / Stakeholders 3.
