Context
- We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele thru prescription activity for End Users and OEMs for our Machinery Offers . You will be the Fore front for Machine Automation and Robotics line of products for prescribing our solution and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales and Marketing funnel for PULL Business.
- Drive Prescription for Offers like Digital Machine Twin, Robotics and Next Gen Machine Automation by closing the loop with End User and OEM
Key Responsibilities
- Define a focused approach for IA Prescription, aligned by Offers, Segments & applications.
- Create tools for regular update of Specifications.
- Create & run the holistic EcoSystem Coverage (EU, Consultant, POEM, OEM, SI, Panel Builder, IAD, etc.) model for Machine Solutions and Robotics Prescription.
- Create success measurement and cadence process.
- Work in synergy with other Offer leaders, LoBs and Segments for creating joint value of Machine Offers at machine or shop floor.
- Internally champion the overall business strategy for Robotics and motion products.
- Perform GAP analysis and needs assessments, and evaluations. Determine potential learning objectives.
- Manage Prescription and create pull for the machinery segment working with End Segments like F&B , Pharma , Automotive and Electronic Assembly.
- Increase visibility of EUs, serve by Solutions / Functions/ Products approach through prescription strategy with a focus on applications.
- Offer Coverage : IDMST | IDOL2| IDSFT | IDVSD | IDPAC
Requirements:
Minimum 8 years of experience in Industrial Automation. Strong technical hands on experience on Industrial Automation products including selection / sizing of servo drive and motors, actuators, robotics etc.
- Proven working experience as a Motion Product Expert, Motion Solution Expert ,business development manager Robotics or a relevant role.
- Proven track record of working on High End Motion Machines with A Class OEM's in the Country.
- Relevant experience for Precription in End Markets like F&B , Pharma etc
- Market knowledge in Motion and Automation Domain.
- Communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong Stakeholder and relationship management skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in electrical/ Mechanical/Mechatronics engineering or equal qualification and experience
