The Role
As a manager, you will help drive the QA organization within Zeta along with the Director/VP to deliver the expected quality assurance on the products/services that Zeta offers to its customers.
Responsibilities
- Our ideal candidate is a natural problem solver with a passion for automation, enjoys working with product, solutions, engineering, operations, customer success, and QA Engineers to enable them to understand the feature, and the solution and then develop automation and Continuous Integration of code, enjoys finishing projects, and obsesses about the quality.
- You will have the freedom and encouragement to experiment and innovate, to improve existing processes and invent new ones, and not be limited by that's not how we do things here. You will have a tangible impact on quality, process, our product, and -- most importantly -- our customers. And you will have the satisfaction of being able to look back and say you were a key contributor to something special from its earliest stages.
- You will develop high-quality test automation products to drive lower operational costs and faster deployments
- Our SDETs help manual QA's achieve great quality by automating functional and non-functional test cases and developing automation frameworks.
- Lead a team with senior SDETs and act as a liaison between the engineering team, product, customer success and the actual customer managing e2e delivery Come up with innovative and effective process management documentation that can help in improving the productivity and efficiency of the team.
- Mentor team members technically, help them scale at work, and also review their productivity and attitude to learn and grow
- Help the team members grow in understanding their aspirations and track the career growth of every team member on creating quality engineered products that can be consumed by internal stakeholders across the organization team's performance half-yearly every year and provide objective feedback for growth.
- Drive the test design framework and code reviews with the senior members of the team
- Have a passion for domain-based testing and drive the quality org products development with a perspective of the service we offer to our customers and their effective business usage across regions
Skills
- Having experience and exposure to banking-based products quality engineering/assurance is highly preferred
- Passion and attitude to learn the domain and invest time to drive product quality from a business perspective.
- Having experience in test management tools/JIRA
- Experience in architecting and building automation products/tools is an added advantage.
- Experience in handling external customers/internal stakeholders with clear articulation, communication, and reporting skills.
- Experience in sprint management, deriving objective outcomes of every sprint with meticulous planning skills.
- Good understanding of web services and distributed systems.
- Hands-on coding experience in Java and SQL.
- Proven understanding of gray box and black box testing techniques.
- Hands-on experience with various REST API, Web, and Mobile application testing tools
- Excellent debugging skills, measures and analyzes code for quality.
- Good communication skills with the ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams and Business units.
Experience And Qualifications
- 10-15 yrs. experience preferably in product companies with managerial experience
- Undergraduate Degree in Engineering.
