Your day at NTT DATA
The Manager, Services Asset Lifecyle is a management role, responsible for the planning and management of stock inventory in line with the requirements of the regional/divisional business and its clients and in so doing plan global spares holding.
This role is a people management role, responsible for managing Spares Analysts and Administrators within the team, whilst fostering a collaborative an innovative team culture focused on operational excellence.
What You'll Be Doing
Key Responsibilities:
- Advises on the global spares planning strategy at a regional/divisional level.
- Develops best practice methodologies and systems to enhance the management of spares.
- Communicates and / or enables the broader team on the global spares strategy.
- Ensures that a high level of operational quality is maintained at regional/divisional level.
- Responsible for getting maximum discounts on stock orders and manages the distribution of landed orders.
- Assists with stock planning at a global/regional/divisional level.
- Coaches, develops and mentors the broader Spares/Services Asset Lifecycle team.
- Ensures immediate team has the required tools and materials to deliver against functional/team goals and objectives.

- Advanced understanding of information technology industry.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced negotiation skills and is assertive in approach.
- Displays some strategic thinking ability with the passion to stay abreast of best practice methodologies within their area of expertise.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage a team to successfully achieve their functional/team goals and objectives.
- Willing and able to drive development and optimization of systems for spares planning and automation of the operation as far as possible.
- Logical thinker and problem solver.
- Systematic in approach and structured in thinking and working.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to facilitate team discussions to drive towards solutions.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field such as Procurement / Purchasing / Supply Chain / Logistics or a related field.
Required Experience:
- Advanced relevant work experience in procurement/supply chain/inventory management, preferably gained within a global IT services organization.
- Advanced relevant work experience in Spares and Logistics Management.
- Advanced relevant work experience gained within a technology services environment.
- Advanced relevant experience in leading and managing a team.
