The Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment at client locations. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service, and providing technical support. The Service Engineer will work closely with other teams to ensure seamless delivery and maintenance of systems.
Qualification - ITI (Mechanical/Electrical/Instrument Engineer or Diploma in Mechanical Engineer
Experience - 10 plus years experience in construction equipment
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Setup: Install, commission, and configure machinery or equipment according to the company's standards and client specifications.
Technical Support
: Provide on-site or remote troubleshooting for hardware and software issues. Ensure timely resolution of problems.Maintenance and Repair
: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machines and respond quickly to breakdowns or malfunctions.Client Communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing technical guidance, explaining solutions, and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, service visits, maintenance activities, and client interactions in the company's system.
Training
: Provide hands-on training to clients and staff on the use of machinery or systems.Safety and Compliance
: Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure compliance with company and industry standards during installations and repairs.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on new technologies, tools, and practices within the industry to ensure high-quality service.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Skills
: Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, ability to troubleshoot complex issues, and experience with diagnostic tools.Soft Skills
: Strong communication skills, customer-oriented mindset, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.Certifications: Relevant technical certifications are a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Travel: Frequent travel to client sites is required.
Physical Requirements*: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in various environments, and be on-call for urgent repairs.
