Job Summary
The Manager of Sales for a real estate project is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and driving the sales function. This position demands strategic thinking, a deep understanding of the real estate market, strong leadership skills and the ability to formulate and execute sales strategies. The Manager Sales work collaboratively with other departments and contribute to the overall success of the real estate project through effective management of the sales process.
Job Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the overall project goals and market dynamics.
- Collaborate with senior management to set sales targets and contribute to the development of the projects business plan.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor the sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
- Foster a positive and high-performance culture within the sales department.
- Market Analysis and Competitor Intelligence:
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities, market trends, and potential challenges.
- Stay abreast of competitor activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, brokers, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee the development of long-term client relationships to enhance customer loyalty.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
- Develop and manage accurate sales forecasts, regularly reporting to senior management.
- Provide insights into sales performance, market trends and other relevant metrics.
- Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
- Collaborate closely with marketing, finance, legal and operations teams to ensure alignment of sales activities with overall project objectives.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to strategic decisions
- Sales Process Optimization:
- Evaluate and optimize the sales process for efficiency and effectiveness
- Implement best practices and tools to enhance the productivity of the sales team.
- Contract Negotiation:
- Oversee contract negotiation process, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with legal team to finalize and execute contract.
Requirements
- Proven 10+ experience in a senior sales leadership role within the real estate industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of real estate market trends and customer behaviour.
- Analytical skills for interpreting sales performance data and making strategic decisions.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and other relevant software.
Qualifications
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
