Job Description

We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to oversee Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) aspects for our Ballastless Projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing EHS policies and practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and promoting a culture of safety and environmental stewardship within the organization.
Duty Statements
  • Develop, implement, and manage EHS policies and procedures specific to Ballastless Projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and national regulations.
  • Conduct regular EHS inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards.
  • Lead the investigation of incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Provide EHS training and awareness programs for project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to foster a culture of safety and compliance.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to integrate EHS considerations into project planning and execution.
  • Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, preparing detailed reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the proper management and disposal of hazardous materials and waste, in line with environmental regulations and best practices.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in EHS practices related to ballastless technology.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or a related field; additional certifications in EHS management or Occupational Health and Safety are a plus.
  • Proven experience in EHS management within railway or infrastructure projects, with specific expertise in Ballastless systems.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage EHS programs across multiple projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in EHS management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across departments.
