Overview:
-We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Payments Reconciliation & Settlement Operations Assistant Manager/Manager to oversee and optimize our payment processing, Reconciliation, and settlement operations.
-The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Payments domain, with expertise in Digital payment systems, reconciliation, and settlement processes. This role requires leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to managing operational challenges in a dynamic environment.
Operations Management:
-Oversee all aspects of Reconciliation for both Collection & disbursal Products., ensuring timely and accurate execution of exception cases.
-Implement best practices to streamline the workflows and enhance efficiency.
-Continuously Monitor of the teams productivity and performance, reliability, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
-Manage settlement processes for various financial instruments and products. Timely Monitoring the Settlement receivables from the Acquiring partner.
-Develop and maintain Ops procedures to minimize risk and optimize cash flow.
-Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve settlement discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
Project Management :
-Identify potential risks associated with payments and develop and implement appropriate controls to mitigate them.
-Stay updated on regulatory developments and industry trends affecting payment systems and settlement processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
-Serve as a project manager, leading process engineering and automation projects to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
-Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions,and implement robust systems for proactive identification of losses and prevention measures to safeguard Cashfree's assets.
Team Leadership:
-Lead and mentor a team of payments Ops who involve in Day to day Txn reconciliation and and settlement operations professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
-Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them develop their skills and achieve their career goals.
-Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities.
Process Improvement:
-Identify opportunities to optimize the Recon Process and settlement workflows through automation, technology upgrades, and process redesign.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements and workflow improvements.
-Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of operational initiatives and drive continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree + Business Administration (Mandatory), or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma & Business Analysis) preferred.
-Proven experience in payment processing, Reconciliation & settlement operations, or financial operations management.
-Strong understanding of payment systems, Specifically NPCI Products (UPI,IMPS, NACH,) card payments, Cross Border and emerging payment technologies.
-Familiarity with regulatory requirements governing payment processing and settlement activities.
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex operational issues.
-Effective leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
-Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with JIRA & Freshdesk
