Responsibilities
- Ensure on a continues basis quality standards are maintained with minimal tolerance margin/exceedance level which shall include defining and developing audit and continuous quality monitoring programmed covering Maintenance/AMO, the CAR 145 function, CAMO, Sub contracts , Flight Operations, Airport Operations, Stores, Procurement, Maintenance Forecasting, Maintenance Planning, People Capability and Training Standards, Minimum Quality Standards of Vendors, Suppliers and Partners.
- Manage and drive audits with a Quality Team covering the entire span and scope of the organization including if required perform audits to ensure overall standards are constantly maintained.
- Ensure periodic SAFA audits are conducted on the fleet and ensure highest standards of operational acceptability is maintained. Ensure timely applications of various applications related to aircraft, NSOP, trainings, etc to regulatory bodies for approval, renewals and follow ups when required. Interface and interact with DGCA from time to time as needed.
- Ensure Station audits including new destination base audits and wherever applicable, audit of fuel vendors, ground handling and catering is done prior to flights being initiated.
- Develop a roadmap for ensuring ISO 9001 & ISO 18001 certification for Adani Aviation.
- Ensure that minimum quality acceptance standard index is defined as part of KPI and such KPI index is shared with the Company for being in sync with Adani Group Corporate Standards.
- Ensure that Quality team set in place meets or exceeds the industry standards for quality assurance & quality conformance.
- Revise, update and constantly evolve department audit standards including checklists, protocols and audit scope keeping in view the changing dynamics of DGCA regulations, OEM standards & specifications, ISO & related standards for aerospace and aviation.
- Devise and set in place specific maintenance quality audits and maintenance/shop visit audits that ensure continuous quality monitoring of aircraft before shop visit, during shop visit and after shop visit in accordance with DGCA CAR M.
10 Ensuring the organization holds all appropriate technical publications, specifications and manual. Coordinate all aspects of the Company Exposition (CAME/TPM) / Quality Manual . Ensuring all staff carry out Quality Inspections and Quality audits are adequately trained
- Review the Quality Systems of new contractors and organize audits of their quality assurance. Monitoring compliance with and adequacy of procedures to always ensure airworthy aircraft via an Audit program and that all maintenance is performed in accordance with Approved data.
Monitor all contracted maintenance for compliance with contract conditions relevant to airworthiness and that contracted organizations have the relevant CAR 145 Approvals and facilities.
- Auditing CAMO Functions for accuracy and currency of all CAMO documents.
- Liaison with regulatory authorities for any Quality / CAMO related documentation as and when required.
Qualifications
Candidate must have at least 5 years experience in Quality / CAMO role in an Airline / NSOP. AME with B1 or B2 background will be preferred.
