Job Description
Routine Tasks
- Overseeing complete Facilities & infrastructure set up, and liaison with contractors & interiors for the same.
- Achieve targets on time and to deal with any type of Machinery problems & department issues.
- Interacting with different departments for executing the maintenance of all equipment in the plant and enhancing the overall efficiency.
- Handling back office operations for establishing new systems & Projects and processes in the operation, including energy conservation methods.
- Facility management - to ensure upkeep activities like power management, water management, Building-infrastructure, Fire safety systems & Waste water treatment etc.
- Handling Statutory activities like Factory Electrical License, Generator License, Consent for water & Air from Pollution control board, Fire License, Explosive License, Liasoning with TNEB -officials, MRTS officials & Taluk officials etc., as per schedule.
- AMC- Procurement for HVAC Systems, DG-Sets, and Landscape & Pest control systems etc., as per schedule.
- Maintained TPM for Buildings, Externals, interiors, Electrical systems, HVAC systems, Fire safety equipments, Landscape, Water & Waste water systems, lightings, paintings,& plumbing etc., as per schedule.
- Carrying out periodic Audit & Inspection activities like CEIG Inspection, TNPCB inspection, Explosive Audit ,Fire Drills etc., as per schedule.
Non-Routine/Strategic Tasks
- Develop Purchase policy Landscape materials, Building maintenance materials, Machinery spares, safety equipments, HVAC Systems, stationery, electrical items & Lightings etc.
- Prepared and maintained department budget.
- Co-ordinating with ST Plant, water testing, Evacuation plans, Fire Ext, co-ordinating in conducting fire fighting programs.
Competencies
- BE/Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering With relavant qualification and projects experience.
- C-License holder for authorized person to handled HT /MV Equipments.
- 10-16 yrs experience in the same field

Key Result Areas & Key Performance Indicators
- Power supply
- Maintain the power management.
- Power interruption should not be more than 14 seconds.
- Monitor daily activities of Electricity and Diesel Generator operations.
- Monitor and control measures for Electrical units.
- Maintained all electrical panels with accessories.
- Monitoring of Daily consumption of fuel.
- Water supply
- Maintained un-interrupted water supply on 24 X 7 basis.
- Regular drinking water supply and hot water specifically and its effective maintenance.
- HVAC Systems
- Maintained and monitoring of facility equipments like chillers, Cooling towers, Chilled water pumps and AHU.
- Monitor and control measures of cooling systems as per human feasibility.
- Monitoring of overall A/C and PA system.
- VRV & PA Systems
- Maintained and monitoring of Admin.VRV Systems like Indoor cassette units, Wall mounting units, Outdoor units.
- Maintained regular maintenance of overall VRV Systems.
- Safety systems
- Monitoring and maintained safety control measures on overall facility.
- Monitoring of fire hydrants, fire sump with accessories.
- Monitoring and control measures of fire extinguishers.
- Organizing training programs for Fire & First aid training's.
Infrastructure
- Maintain the infrastructure as a brand new facility by interiors/exterior up keeping, furniture maintenance, boundary fence, internal roads & water drainage, bore wells & open wells as well as to carry out effective pest control, ETP and STP.
- Adhere to department requirements on workspace and workstation.
- Feasibility study for making alterations related to the existing infrastructure facility and management for the best benefit to BAA.
