We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Manager in Production, Planning & Control. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating and optimizing production activities to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production plans to meet operational goals and targets.
- Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including procurement, engineering, and quality assurance to ensure smooth production flow.
- Oversee inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize wastage.
- Lead and mentor production staff to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Generate reports and analysis on production performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop strategies for enhancing production efficiency and reducing costs.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years experience in production planning and control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
- Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
- Certification in production and inventory management (e.g., APICS) is a plus.
- Should be able to communicate well and collaborate with all levels of staff.
- Must have the ability to motivate and manage teams and drive performance.
