Job Description:
As a Placement Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day placement activities, including student training, employer relationship management, and the execution of placement drives. You will act as the primary point of contact between the students and corporate recruiters to ensure a seamless placement process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate placement activities, including pre-placement talks, interviews, and campus recruitment drives.
- Liaise with recruiters, industries, and corporate partners to bring internship and job opportunities to students.
- Mentor students on career planning, resume building, and interview preparation.
- Manage data on student profiles, placements, and internship opportunities.
- Assist in organizing workshops and events related to career development.
- Ensure timely communication with all stakeholders, including students, recruiters, and faculty.
- Cultivate relationships with key recruiters, industry experts, and corporate leaders.
- Supervise the placement executive committee members and oversee their day-to-day activities.
- Conduct workshops and mock interviews to prepare students for the corporate world.
- Lead efforts to increase the number of recruiting companies on campus.
- Foster strong connections with alumni and leverage their networks for placements.
Job Specifications:
- MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent.
- 4-8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a B-School or a leading educational institute.
- Proven track record of managing a team and achieving placement targets.
- Strong network within the corporate sector.
- Leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
Proficient in handling placement data, trends, and insights.
