Role Purpose:
The Manager - Organizational Design is responsible for collaborating and reviewing organizational design and role profiles across Majid Al Futtaim Retail. They will liaise with Country Human Capital teams to develop workforce and talent archetypes that enable greater business synergies and meet the desired resource and productivity levels. Additionally, the role holder will support the implementation of new initiatives that contribute to the optimal organization design, workforce, and talent archetypes.
Role Details Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner globally with the HCBPs across the countries to ensure proper compliance with the policies and guidelines related to organizational design.
- Partner with functional leaders on organization effectiveness and planning initiatives such as developing operating models, workforce planning and organizational structures.
- Collaborate with the countries to recommend organizational structures in alignment with the organization's overall strategic objectives and Human Capital vision.
- Contribute and support ongoing process improvements aligned with a lean and robust mindset to ensure continuous performance improvement.
- Maintain collaborative relationship with HC Operations Team, HC global solutions teams, and the wider HC function(s).
- Provide insights and support with organization mobility & job levelling of employees to fuel the proposed organization designs, archetypes, and pipelines.
- Support the Organizational Effectiveness team with the global workforce plan including expansion to ensure the optimal organizational design and business archetypes.
- Support in reviewing and approving role profiles to fit role requirements and guidelines
- Work with the Total Rewards team to ensure role profiles are compliant with the guidelines, and readly available for the job evaluations
- Partner with Total Rewards team to ensure roles are evaluated/graded correctly prior creation.
- Ensure the appropriate role profiles index availability as per guidelines , maintain and update whenever necessary, and communicate changes with relevant stakeholders.
Human Capital Responsibilities
Proactively identify and seek professional development opportunities to improve leadership and technical skills pertaining to the direct line of work.
Apply and follow MAFR's Human Capital corporate policies and relevant procedures and instructions.
Provide feedback to colleagues, when required.
Financial Responsibilities
- Monitor allocated budget to ensure compliance and take corrective measures when necessary.
- Provide inputs on the development of annual budget.
- Develop necessary measures towards continuous reduction of the operational cost.
Qualification, Experience & Skills:
Minimum qualifications/education
- Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or relevant field
- Masters Degree is preferred
- Professional HR Certification such as CIPR / SHRM is preferred
Minimum experience
- 7+ years of experience in total is required.
- A minimum of 1 5 years of relevant experience within human capital
- A minimum of 1+ years of human capital leadership experience, ideally in a Retail industry or similar industry.
Skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills;
- Advanced user of PowerPoint and Excel is a must;
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to develop recommendations;
- Able to work collaboratively with key internal and external leaders, partners, suppliers and customers
- Ability to inspire and engage others in a long-term vision of Majid Al Futtaim Retail;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure, balancing conflicting demands and meeting tight deadlines;
- Personal integrity and the ability to invoke trust and respect;
- English (Full professional proficiency - Required).
