Role Profile
We are looking for multifaceted and forward-looking
Manager- Oracle Cloud Fusion BIP Reporting/OACS Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading Cloud Fusion BIP/ OACS Reporting development, including the setup, configuration, and management, as well as coordinating OCI support and owning the Oracle Cloud ERP Reporting Development team members. The candidate must have ffull graspthe end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and overall behavioral characteristics of large-scale implementation of Cloud Fusion.
Responsibility includes development and implementation of critical test cases with focus on security, resiliency, scale, and performance. Partner with development teams and work towards addressing and fixing production issues on cloud, defining and implementing product improvements. Collaborate with various cloud operations teams to understand the production issues and work towards to create a reproducible test case in the lab environment to present to the development team.

The Programme is driving efficiencies and maximising benefits for LSEG by moving to a single cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning and Performance Management (Oracle Fusion/EPM/EDM/OICS).
As a
Manager- Oracle Cloud Fusion BIP Reporting/OACS Engineer, will be responsible for:
- Responsible for End-to-End Technical Delivery of Oracle Cloud Fusion BIP Reporting/OACS.
- Communicate the detail plans, timelines, requirements across wider teams.
- Make sure the allocation of Engineers to every release.
- Own the release activities to deploy the software successfully.
- Supervise the progress and find issues, if any. always work to improve the release process.
- Make sure that the release is planned, according to the requirements and budget.
- Business Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business partners to elicit, analyse, and document comprehensive reporting requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Report Design and Development: Leverage Oracle Cloud Fusion's Business Intelligence (BIP) tools to design, develop, and maintain complex reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions that meet stringent business needs.
- Data Integration and Modelling: Integrate data from diverse sources, including Oracle Cloud Fusion modules, external systems, and data warehouses, into robust data models to support accurate and informative reporting.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize report performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and delivery, addressing any bottlenecks or slowdowns through proactive performance tuning techniques.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing to validate report accuracy, functionality, and performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards and identifying potential issues for timely resolution.
- Documentation and Knowledge Transfer: Build comprehensive documentation for reports, including design specifications, user guides, and maintenance procedures, to facilitate knowledge transfer and ongoing support.
- Support and Maintenance:
- Provide ongoing support for existing reports, addressing user inquiries, solving issues, and implementing enhancements as needed to maintain report effectiveness.
- Lead and work with Oracle support, consulting teams and should have a through understanding of the process that is involved taking care of Oracle SR's.
- Work independently and solve problems and are willing to do what it takes to get things done.
- Ability to establish relationships and influence outside of authority while demonstrating Oracle expertise and resources.
- Great teammate, able to work with various levels in the organization across multiple time zones.
Knowledge/Skills
- Experience building features with technologies Oracle Cloud Fusion, OICS, BIP Reporting, REST services, PL/SQL, Paython, Oracle Database ADW.
- Proven understanding in finance business process functions, including R2R, P2P, O2C and Oracle RMB.
- Data modelling, designed and implemented ETL interfaces/mappings to load data into DWH as per business and reporting requirements
- Very good knowledge and expertise following the industry standard process/methods like Agile, DevOps, SDLC.
- Certifications: Relevant Oracle Cloud Fusion certifications, such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certifications or Oracle Fusion Applications certifications.
- Industry Expertise: Specific domain knowledge in areas such as finance, human capital management, supply chain, or enterprise resource planning.
- Experience and Skill of leading virtual teams, partner across interpersonal boundaries and influence development direction and Ability to empower, grow and guide developers.
Experience
- More than 16+years of experience in Oracle ERP BIP, OACS applications Implementation.
- Experience working within a Finance Technology function, preferably with large Financial Services Organisation.
- Experience in driving high availability, resiliency, and scalability of a global Oracle ERP Cloud Fusion Applications landscape delivering metrics-driven continuous improvements.
- Ability to work with cross-functional Directors and global leads
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
