Lead & deliver new model powertrain launches in the region on time, on cost and at the target quality levels. In addition, you are responsible for Process & Strategy Cycle Planning Assessments, Process & Strategy, Pre-PA Budget & Timing, BPR, Lessons Learned and Leading the Central Change management approval process, Open To Go, Alert and PVBR for milestone reviews ensuring program readiness alignment to proceed to the next build.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering from an accredited University.
Minimum of 10+ years experience in New Model Program (VO & PTO) or Program management.
Strong verbal, written, and listening skills. Ability to relate to employees at all levels of the business.
Strong PC skills and Internet applications. Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint.
Preferred Ford system experience in WERS, CMMS3 and LQOS.
GNMP Responsibilities:
Responsible for meeting PPAP Metrics & completing the risk mitigation for non-PAPP parts for agreed programs across regions.
Ensure all Centralized GCM, Alert, OTG Reports are circulated on time for all agreed programs across the regions.
Responsible to create PVBR by studying buildable combination assessment to agreed programs across regions.
Responsible for control plan development for agreed programs across regions.
Hold key meetings with regional leads to ensure all open points are addressed.
Responsible to maintain a track of Purchased Service records / training / budget / etc.
Process & Strategy Responsibilities:
Work with Global & Regional Cycle Planning teams to establish Timing and budgets for future launches in the 5-year planning period. Develop Launch Timing based on GPDS Standard Timing and meet Cycle Plan guidelines.
Create launch cost estimates for pre-PS cycle plan/vignette studies through PA with key stakeholder alignment. Manage Launch Budget Change Control Post PA
Develop and present New Model Programs (NMP) Manufacturing Business Review Budget Study Review Package to NMP Chief(s) & Director(s).
SPOC for all LQOS Process changes in the region.
Provide regional inputs into Monthly BPR Process
Liaison for OSM & Stop Ship Lessons Learned process feedback between Global NMP lead and Regional NMP Managers
Regional LPWR lead & Report out of LPWR status from individual plants.
PTO Responsibilities:
Manage post Unit Launch Timing change approval and communication through the Circ. Letter Process.
Interact with NMP Process and Strategy team to provide inputs on launch timing and cost for pre-Unit program studies, based on plant loading and change contents.
Drive standardization through adhering to LQOS guidelines and procedures. Initiate LQOS change requests based on Program Lessons learned / Improvement ideas / Efficiencies.
Coordination of build activities adhering to build plan.
Manage the NMP stake in Global Change Management Process (GCM) & Alert ensuring that changes are approved and timed appropriately for flawless implementation in program window.
Manage the preparation and presentation at Launch Milestone Declaration Reviews (EPBRs) from Unit until Unit , tracking status of product readiness, supplier readiness, manufacturing readiness, in-line with LQOS guidelines.
Ensure cross functional participation in daily AIM meetings and all issues recorded and tracked to resolution.
Tracking and controlling of Launch Cost for all programs and delivering programs within Launch Budget.
Review and document Lessons learned for all programs after every event.
Manage the preparation and presentation of the NMP Assessment report for every program.
Training - Identifying staff training needs for launch department and coordinating with training department to deliver the required trainings.
Lead the On Site Modification process, managing the matrix of modifications, working with the plant and suppliers to track part updates and draw down plan for PT shipment.
