Job Summary:
We are looking for an Associate in Supply Chain Finance to support the financial operations related to supply chain activities. The candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, optimizing cash flow, and working with suppliers and financial institutions to ensure the smooth functioning of the supply chain from a financial perspective. This role is ideal for a candidate with a keen interest in finance and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage supply chain financial transactions, including payments to suppliers, vendor financing, and receivables.
- Coordinate with suppliers, procurement teams, and financial institutions to optimize cash flow and ensure timely payments.
- Analyze the financial health of supply chain operations and provide insights for improving efficiency.
- Assist in negotiating financing terms and conditions with banks and other financial institutions to support the supply chain.
- Monitor and manage working capital requirements associated with supply chain activities.
- Prepare reports and financial statements related to supply chain financing for management review.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial management in the supply chain.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies related to supply chain financing.
- Assist in financial risk assessments related to the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Support audits related to supply chain financial activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in supply chain finance, corporate finance, or related areas.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and their financial impact.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in supply chain finance within the EPC or manufacturing sector.
- Knowledge of financial instruments related to supply chain financing, such as letters of credit and trade credit insurance.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
