As a Machine Learning Manager, you will hire and lead a team that focuses on entity resolution, customer profiling and other AI/ML applications, to generate significant business impact across multiple domains. This is a high-profile position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers and ML scientists.
Your day to day
As a Machine Learning Manager you will be responsible for:
Recruiting and leading a team of highly skilled ML scientists
Work with partners across the enterprise to formalize a long and short-term plan for product enhancements and new features
Formulate and execute the team vision, meeting both business and technological needs
Build large scale (all PayPal transaction or logins!) end-to-end data products in close collaboration with our engineering partners
Transform large amounts of complex data into business insights and solutions by using the latest technology in AI/ML
What do you need to bring-
Data Science/Machine Learning team management experience - must
Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in AI/ML and Data Science
Masters, PhD, or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, etc.)
Code writing capabilities in any programming language (preferably Python) and familiarity with relevant ML packages
Experience with deep learning
GCP and big data experience
Experience managing teams in a global organization - an advantage
Experience in managing in a multi-culture and multi-location organizations - an advantage
Experience working with graph algorithms, text and GenAI - an advantage
Team player, responsible, delivery-oriented, details-oriented
Outstanding communication skills
Excellent spoken and written English
