Transportation and goods delivery:
- Monitor inbound shipments to India, including but not limited to timeliness of last mile delivery to customers
- Conduct random audit of transport documents
- Working closely Flyjac (3PL company) in India from the moment the goods are handed over to them by UPS
- Coordinate with UPS on freight validation, review of the bill of entry and complete the payment
Customs management:
- Coordinate with UPS on the import clearances process
- Coordinate with certification agencies, consultants on non-technical queries raised by customs
- Coordinate with business for management of technical queries raised by Customs such as product function/ end use
- Review and confirm valuation of taxes/duties and invoicing of material once goods are customs cleared
- Ensure the timely duty payments
Compliance management:
Coordination with UPS and prepare various compliance and regulatory documents such as Customs Bonds, Certification application etc. to ensure company's compliant operations
3PL DC operation model analysis:
- Provide analysis of 3PL operations to improve cost efficiency by engaging new models (air to sea/ groupage etc) at a strategic perspective for India
- Continuously analyze and improve logistics processes to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure efficient use of resources.
Commercial Logistics Offer for India
Supporting Procurement with vendor management comparison of services offered by current provider against market practices / prices : Such as 3PL provider, last mile delivery provider, destination charges etc.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business administration, with focus in logistics or supply-chain management
- 8 years experience on logistics operation
- Familiar with import customs regulations and compliance matters, knowledge of 3PL DC operations, including inventory management is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaborating closely internally with Sales, Operations as well as external customers
- Advanced English skill both in oral and written
