Mandatory Technical Skills

Must have Skills - Rest API, Splunk, SQL

• Deep Experience in using Web Frontends, Rest APIs
• Experience working in Linux/Unix OS
• Very good knowledge on mobile and web technologies and the different OS platforms (Android, iOS, Windows Mobile)
• Deep Experience in middleware frameworks HTTP Servers (Apache/Nginix) and ability to perform deep detailed application troubleshooting
• Excellent knowledge of web technologies like HTTP protocol, SSL, headers, IP, APIs
• Experience working in Java application support by analyzing the logs in Splunk/Instana
• Excellent communication skills (English), problem solving attitude
• Exposure to work in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) software development environments
• Exposure to cloud environments like AWS and its fundamental functionalities.

Good to have Technical Skills

• Experience in working in multi-location international teams
• Skills in Mobile/Web app support would be beneficial.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience in Continuous Delivery tools, particularly configuration management
• Previous work on integration projects involving multiple IT components.
• Technical experience in database Knowledge in SQL /PL/SQL or NoSQL

Roles and Responsibility

• The role owner will be responsible for the integration of the multiple systems within Vodafone and supporting external parties to integrate with our services and ensure components integrate properly and operate by executing tests and analyse results to identify areas

• Daily interaction will be required with the project team therefore the role owner requires strong communication skills to interact with different group teams.
• The Integration Engineer is expected to become the hands-on product expert knowing different configuration options and app behaviour.
• The integration engineer will also be supporting troubleshooting and root cause analysis for the several phases of the application lifecycle.
