Job Description

Role Summary:

As a Manager of KYC team, you will be responsible for delivering a fast-on boarding experience to customers of Dhan, at the same time adhering to all regulations at all times. While we build a technology driven product for our traders & investors - you are the one who is ensuring they get onboarded quickly and experience this first hand. Try to avoid any escalations, but if they happen then manage it with empathy and caring attitude to resolve them.

You will lead the KYC team members, ensuring business continuity through all channels and processes at all times when it comes to onboarding of users. You will also stay updated with all changing dynamics for this role - be it regulatory, compliance, product or technology. You will closely work with your team in KYC & Onboarding, Customer Support, Product, Growth and Engineering teams to build that great onboarding experience for our users.

You will display empathy with customers in all conversations, ensure you hear them well, and share with them the appropriate resolution (to the point) and if not now, get back to them at the earliest. You need to strongly support and deliver the vision of Raise by ensuring awesome customer experience, and your role is critical for us to deliver that promise.

Expected Responsibilities:

  • You would assist in the development, implementation, and periodic performance of key controls.
  • You should be able to adhere to all regulations from RBI / SEBI / IRDAI in this process.
  • You would be required to share onboarding metrics with relevant stakeholders, forecasting volumes and implementing plan of action
  • Mentor and closely work with the KYC team to develop target operating model, covering Ti people, process and technology.
  • To develop the on-going KYC training plan and enhance staff knowledge of business and product
  • To manage KYC-related KPIs (key performance indicators) for the segment/group to ensure consistency in quality and timeliness of completion
  • You will have to manage KYC Operations project book of work, including strategic program roll out, major and minor system enhancements
  • You need to ensure the highest standard of quality is adhered within team and at the same time drive process efficiency.
  • To diligently work towards developing consistent process and practices
  • You need to create efficiencies through on-going utilization of low-cost centers for data management

Expected Skills:

  • 7-12 years experience in financial services with knowledge of KYC & Onboarding processes, preferably from broking companies / investment business with minimum 5 yrs experience in handling KYC for a Stock Broker
  • Handling large teams is a must appx 20+ team
  • Knowledge of local KYC regulations - RBI and SEBI KYC regulations and also of the global policies pertaining to adoptions at product level.
  • Good stakeholder management skills & worked on a consumer facing role.
  • Understanding of end-to-end KYC remediation/periodic review and client on-boarding process.

Location: Mumbai (Borivali East)

Candidates from Mumbai (Western Suburbs) would be preferred.
