Our team helps companies streamline and effectively manage their international assignment program in a cost-efficient manner. You'll assist our team with international assignee management, Human Resources, payroll, finance, and accounting in addition to mobility policy, process, and governance consulting.

Role Name and Description MANAGER

GMS (Global Mobility Services) team in KPMG is responsible for providing key operational support to tax which KPMG provides to its multinational Clients.

GMS offers the ease of managing client (also referred to as engagements within KPMG) in the following manner:

Providing operations management support on complex regulatory affairs across multiple jurisdiction

Managing the end-to-end engagement lifecycle management process and reporting standards

Providing project management support and controlling the cost of managing the compliance across various regions/ countries.

Responsible for ensuring smooth delivery as per agreed SLA's

The Opportunity

The job holder will work on several client accounts/ engagements, where they will be involved in delivering all services management aspects of multi -national engagement.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor engagement status, issues and potential risks that can impact engagement.
  • Understand processes and dependencies in meeting obligations of the filings in countries.
  • Provide engagement status on a periodic basis highlighting risks and issues and achievements.
  • Identify service delivery and process gaps which can be fixed to improve service delivery.
  • Handle a portfolio of clients and manage a team with AMs, consultants, and associates.
  • Monitor and flag engagement and people issue to local and engagement leadership.
  • Act as the SPOC for the respective client teams and escalations point of contact.
  • Work with Global Engagement Managers and Coordinators to ensure engagements are managed effectively and efficiently.
  • Responsible for the customer satisfaction scores of the portfolio by managing service delivery expectations of clients.
  • Identify training gaps for self and team and work with leadership to bridge gaps.
  • Network with offshore teams to create and maintain good relationship.

Skills And Attributes to Qualify for The Role:We are looking for candidates with the following:

  • 10 years & above of overall work experience in Global Mobility Services in leading professional services firm.
  • Experience of working in multi geography engagements
  • Bachelors or master's degree, Engineering or Business Management.
  • Understanding of Tax Return preparation life cycle
  • Experience in client billing & invoicing.
  • Experience in working in a multi-cultural and team environment.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is preferrable.
  • Proficiency with MS office, Advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau is desirable.

  • Demonstrate an eye for detail
  • Be flexible and willing to adjust responsibilities to align with developing business needs
