About Infrastructure & Capital Projects
I&CP is Global Practice with presence in NA, SA, Europe, ME, India and Australia. We assist our clients in capital-intensive and long-maturity projects through exclusive methodologies implemented by a team of competency leaders and industry experts. We work across project lifecycle focused around project performance improvement. We bring integrated vision of Financial, Technical and Regulatory to enable success. We work in areas of Captial Strategy, CapEx Efficiency, Integrated Project Planning, Supply Strategy, Construction Advisory, Transition to Operations, Asset Management, Portfolio Value Creation, Regulatory Advisory and Dispute Advisory.
Activities & Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of workstreams, driving improvement initiatives, and actively engaging in all aspects of client interactions.
- Confidently manage and facilitate meetings and presentations with both clients and A&M leadership, demonstrating a deep understanding of key topics.
- Proactively respond to project demands, anticipating critical actions necessary for the success of initiatives.
- Participate in business development efforts and proposals, collaborating with colleagues and clients across diverse sectors and functional areas.
- Foster effective collaboration among leadership, ensuring alignment and delivering outcomes that meet the needs of all stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of practice areas by supporting both product and industry growth initiatives.
- Expand and nurture existing accounts, identifying new opportunities and working with leadership to translate them into business growth.
- Act as a liaison between staff and leadership to ensure effective cultural alignment and conflict management.
- Coordinate and ensure compliance with administrative responsibilities, including scheduling, sales tracking, and collections.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6-7 years of total experience in EPC & Project Management and related sectors, with at least 3 years in the consulting industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex projects in multicultural, corporate environments.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering is required. A postgraduate degree in Management or Finance is advantageous.
- In-depth expertise in capital projects across at least 1-2 sectors such as Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining, Real Estate, Power & Renewable Energy, Chemicals, and Heavy Engineering.
- Certification in project management (e.g., AACE, PMI) is highly desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 90%).
Core Competencies:
- Solid technical knowledge and hands-on experience in the design, procurement, or execution of key technical packages in capital-intensive projects.
- Strong background in supply chain management or project controls, with deep expertise in costing, scheduling, and a thorough understanding of industry best practices.
- Proficient in project planning and controls tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project (MSP), quantitative risk management tools, Procure, Unifier, and other relevant systems
- Ability to collaborate effectively, co-create solutions, and develop new business opportunities with clients.
- Leadership ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
- Proactive approach to acquiring and implementing innovative project management technologies.
- Proven experience in people management.
- Skilled at building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and senior stakeholders.
- Insightful in identifying new avenues for A&M's involvement within existing client accounts.
