As Manager , Global Partnerships , Corporations and Foundation s , you will play an integral role in helping u s reach our annual goal of raising $ 30+ million from corp orate and foundation (CF) donors globally . Using your relationship-building and story-telling skills , you ll identify , cultivate and steward ne w partnerships.
You ll also collaborate with Room to Read s e xecutive l eadership t eam a nd global development staff to develop and execute a successful fundraising strategy that includes building a pipeline of prospects .

The position can be based in San Francisco, New York, London, Mumbai , or D elhi and reports to the Director, Global Partnerships, Corporations and Foundations , who is based in the UK .
Business Development and Strategy ( 75 %)
Raise $ 2 -3+ million per year from companies and foundations giving primarily $ 5 0,000 + each year . Build long-term relationships with corporate and foundation donors, cultivating and stewarding thei r interests.
Other Responsibilities ( 25 %)
W rite, edit and/or coordinate clear, compelling materials including concept papers, letters of inquiry, proposals, present ations, reports, and additional materials as needed.
In your first 3 to 6 months, you will:
Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience, with at least 5 years of direct experience in nonprofit fundraising processes or client relationship management, preferably working with corporate and/or foundation philanthropy.
