Job Description
As part of the Decision Support & Insights Group (DSIG) the Finance Manager is responsible for leading the revenue financial reporting and analysis for Global Print. This individual will work collaboratively with sales, revenue management, operations, accounting, and business unit leaders to ensure robust revenue reporting and analysis as well as vital financial insights.
About The Role
- Provide financial oversight of Global Print revenue and execute management and analysis to support key business decisions. Oversee the monthly close process, identify revenue variance drivers and ensure adherence to revenue recognition controls and best practices.
- Participate in the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting processes, deliver actionable guidance on potential risks and opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Sales, Pricing) to refine financial forecasts and contribute to the division's strategic initiatives.
- Manage the reporting framework for revenue and provide informative communications to the business. Provide as-needed financial analysis to support the division's objectives. Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and financial models for real-time analysis.
- Build financial models using data from financial systems and other sources, to support business decisions and the execution of strategic and tactical initiatives.
- Act as a contact point for queries from business.
- Be a guide to the team to improve their skills and competencies as well as ensuring they carry out their own responsibilities to a high standard.
- Support team in personal development plan and make them future ready.
- Work closely with stakeholders on reporting and compliance. Provide input to ad hoc projects within Finance and the business as required.
- Own and drive process improvement, simplification, excellence, automation and broader finance initiatives. Leverage technology and automation to streamline financial processes and reporting.
- Build strong relationships with business management and be seen as a key member of the management team who adds value to the decision-making process.
- For multiple, cross-departmental initiatives, partner with various stakeholders to create high level integrative plans and identify requirements.
- Support Global Print ad hoc finance projects.
About You
- 10+ years of experience in Finance roles supporting a business
- Bachelor's degree or higher (MBA, CPA) strongly preferred
- Proactive, very organized, ability to multitask, managing time and competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Strategic and critical thinker, Self-starter with proven ability to work autonomously, collaborate and influence key leaders within the context of a complex, matrix organization to drive results
- Ability to manage a team/team members and develop staff ensuring cohesiveness, collaboration and clear linking of objectives and outcomes
- Good communicator
- Detail oriented
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Self-motivated / Result oriented / Open to learning new technologies
- Familiarity with accounting and financial reporting principles
- Proficient with finance/accounting software, data automation, and analytical tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, MS Office- Excel, Power Point, SAP, OneStream
