Job Description
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance department.
- Prepare financial statements and reports, including monthly, annual accounts and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and standards.
- Serves as an interface with internal and external audit/regulatory entities.
- Strengthen internal controls, enhance processes improvements.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Develops and maintains a proactive working relationship with clients while delivering agreed upon expectations.
- Understands client's needs and requirements.
- Continually examines current processes and procedures to establish process improvements, efficiencies, and group effectiveness.
- Monitor cash flow and manage budgets/forecasts.
- Coordinate and oversee audits and financial reviews.
- Coordinate internal stake holders for supplying audit requirements & review.
- Review, collect, and analyze data for reports, presentations and correspondence
- Provide financial support to the senior management team.
- Dealing with bankers for administrative works, Bank guarantee's & hedging etc..
- Support ad-hoc projects that arise during various systems implementations relating to the consolidation and reporting function.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills.
- Should have Service mindset.
- Strong knowledge of compliances and procedures especially related Middle East.
- Familiarity with group and local reporting requirements.
- Strong experience with a variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements.
- Strong ability to utilize project management and accounting best practices to organize and prioritize tasks and the tasks of other tax team members.
- Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to work well with stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- We are looking for a candidate with 9 to 10 years of experience in management of F&A function.
- Recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA) is preferred
Knowledge / Technical Skills:
- Very Good Computer Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPointetc.)
- Effective & Efficient Communication Skills
- Ability to Work as an Efficient & effective Team Member Ability to Handle Projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial software applications
