Manager Engineering & Technical Support

The position exists in order to support for design and engineering of EHV electrical Substation and transmission systems which includes the following: Pre-bid Engineering, of all the Green-field Transmission projects (including TBCB). Add value in the Feasibility study and risk assessment for those upcoming projects. Review of the RFP document technical requirement in details Ensure an optimized design and BOQ are prepared to be cost competitive in bidding to win the project. Post bid value engineering and ensuring reliable and compliant systems are designed, manufactured & tested according to the Indian/International standard and best engineering practices at the optimized cost to ensure the reliability and integrity of the assets.

Technical Understanding of the Power Generating / Transforming / Controlling Equipment, Design & Engineering perspective, Exploring Product trends for opportune application Understanding of Design & Engineering aspects of HV AIS & GIS Substation, Transmission Line, Grid connected PV plant & other Renewable Energy estimation Understanding of application of various standards and regulations for Design & Engineering perspective Ability to do review design Root cause Analysis

Overall experience: 8-12 years Specific experience in: Renewables and Transmission (Substation & Transmission Line) Business Minimum 2 years of exposure in Technical Due Diligence / Design & Engineering review of substation / Solar & other Renewables would be preferred. Consultancy in Engineering background in a similar field can also be considered
