Position Summary
As the Manager for our expanding team in India, you will play a pivotal role in building and managing a high-performing Electrical CAD & Standardization team. You will be responsible for driving technical excellence, fostering an Agile work environment, and ensuring the seamless integration.
Main Responsibilities
Technical leadership
- Demonstrate a strong technical acumen in Electrical components understanding and quality assurance methodologies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members (8:10).
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and state of the art development to guide team decisions
Team building and management
- Recruit, train, and lead a talented team of electrical engineers.
- Foster a collaborative and agile working culture, ensuring the team's productivity and efficiency
- Manage performance and career development of team members
Project executing
- Manage and maintain E3-CC documents, like methodology to create components
- Maintain the database to follow the methodology evolution
- Oversee Datasheet creation activities for supplier parts
- Provide support for E3 CAD and for Electrical/Fluid component database
- Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to deliver high-quality output on time.
- Oversee project planning, sprint management, and resource allocation
- Monitor and report project progress, identify and mitigate risks.
Organizational Skills
- Manage day-to-day team operations, including task prioritization, workload distribution, and progress tracking.
- Maintain clear documentation and reporting for projects and team performance.
Critical Skills And Personal Attributes
- Good knowledge of electrical components used in design of machines
- Experience in development of electrical circuits and cabinet layout for machines
- Know what useful data is to add in the component details and symbols to facilitate their use in electrical diagrams
- Experience in designing electrical/fluidic drawings
- Experience in creation/reading of 2D/3D model
- Knowledge of Electrical CAD E3 Zuken / Eplan software & SAP
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Good in English communication skills (written and oral)
- Good in MS Word and Excel
- Organized, pragmatic and proactive
Education And Experience
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree in Electrical or a related engineering discipline
- 10+ years of Industry experience Electrical design, Library parts or standardization
