| 1.Ensure that all the workmen engaged under him are selected through the screening system & have undergone site SHE Induction before assigning any task at construction site. 2.Ensuring compliance of Project basic SHE rules and applicable specifications by 3.Ensuring SHE Inspections has been carried out at construction site and taking prompt action of site inspection and hazard findings. 4.He is to ensure that all work activity meets the minimal legal requirements and is executed in accordance with the approved methodology including the Contraction Design Package Process (CDP). 5.Comply all the points identified in SHE inspection reports. 6.Ensure Hazard/ Aspect Identification and Risk/Impact Assessment is done for all the critical jobs under him. 7.Ensure that all incidents (Near miss cases / Reportable LTI / Dangerous Occurrence / Fatality / Environment related incidents) are reported promptly. 8.To investigate all fatal accidents, occupational diseases contracted and reportable dangerous occurrences. 9.To promote and ensure the working of Site SHE Committees at regular intervals, to act as an advisor to such committees. 10.Monitoring administration of First Aid 11.To advice purchasing and ensuring quality of PPE conforming to national standards. 12.To organize, in association with concerned departments, campaigns, competitions, SHE awareness days and other activities which will develop and maintain the interest of workers in establishing and maintaining safe conditions of work and procedures. 13.To frame safe rules and safe working practices in consultation with Project Manager. |
